Neater Accounting
Entrepreneurs are a driven breed who willingly tackle many challenges along the road to success. Using a commuter car service is one way busy entrepreneurs maximize their productive time and ensure efficiency.
One element that can bog down business people is organizing paperwork and accounting. When traveling, it's especially important to keep track of expenses, which is why Entrepreneur Magazine recently reviewed Neat, a receipt-scanning technology that uses the cloud to store and sync all digital documents on a desktop, in the cloud and on mobile.
Here's what they had to say about this piece of travel technology.
- Easy to install: "Just load the software, plug in the portable scanner, sign up for the cloud service and download the app."
- Intuitive tools: "Neat offers plenty of video tutorials and FAQs that make it easy to customize the system and compile reports when it's time to file."
- Not all travel receipt information entered database correctly: "Some double checking of the system's optical character recognition software [was required.]"
- NeatVerify add-on service that double-checks info: This service is approx. $5-$9 a month.
- NeatMobile app needs some work. "After downloading the app and taking a pic of the receipt, you can't edit the info within the app. You have to wait until you're back at your computer to [edit mistakes]."
