Upcoming San Francisco Giants Baseball
The San Francisco Giants are currently in the midst of yet another winning season. Their players have been putting on one heck of a show each game, and pitcher Tim Lincecum just threw a no-hitter during their game against the Padres on June 25th. Oddly enough, his only two no-hitters have both been against the same team.
If you’ve missed one of the many Giants games held at AT&T Park this season, never fear; there are still plenty of upcoming home games for you to enjoy. Additionally, during a lot of these games, they hold special events for you to enjoy more than just a ballgame.
Vs. The Athletics
The San Francisco Giants have four games coming up against the Athletics. Although the first two on July 7th and July 8th are away, you still have the ability to catch two at home on the 9th and 10th. This is a perfect time to catch a baseball game, since the excitement of the 4th of July has passed. You don’t have to let the party atmosphere die down after Independence Day; you can keep it going by taking your friends out to AT&T Park for a cold beer and a game.
Vs. The Diamondbacks
With the three upcoming games against the Arizona Diamondbacks, you’ll also be able to enjoy up to five different special events. For the first game on Friday, you and your friends should head over early for Orange Friday Happy Hour. The third installment out of four, this pre-game party will have live music provided by The Mowgli’s and everyone also gets a free beer on the house with the purchase of this event ticket package. Also happening on the 11th, the Giants are hosting the 4th annual Bill Graham Tribute Night to pay homage to one of the greatest concert promoters in the music industry. When you purchase a ticket for the tribute event, you will also receive a ticket for the baseball game. All the proceeds from tickets sold go to the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation, which is then used to support music, arts, and education.
On July 12th and 13th, respectively, the Giants are also hosting Boy Scout Day and Girl Scout Day. If your kids are part of these groups, bring them out in uniform and they’ll be able to join in the festivities by participating in a ceremony on the field to honor the Scouts. If you buy tickets to these events, you’ll be given access to the game as well as a Boy Scout or Girl Scout patch depending on which day you go.
Vs. The Dodgers
Towards the end of the month, the Giants host the Los Angeles Dodgers for two games held on the 27th and 28th of July. Be sure to buy one of the special event tickets for the game on Friday, July 25th so you can be entertained by Tainted Love, the iconic 80’s tribute band well-known to the Bay Area during the pre-game party. Tickets will give you admission to the game, the pre-game party in Seals Plaza, a free beer, and a “Giants Gamer Ball”. You won’t go away empty handed if you choose to see the game on the 28th, as the first 20,000 fans will be given a pair of orange sunglasses.
Making it to the Game
Given the fact that a lot of people, yourself included, like to enjoy a beer or two at the game, the best decision you can make before heading out is to use a car service. They’ll be able to pick you up at your door, drive you to the game in the lap of luxury, drop you off at the door so you don’t have to worry about parking, and drive you home safely after the game. A car service is the best way to make sure you are able to enjoy yourself as much as possible in a safe and comfortable way.
So don’t worry, you’ve still got plenty of opportunities to see one of the greatest National League baseball teams in the country play on their home turf at AT&T Park. Pick the best day for you and your friends and head on out to the ballgame.
